Plein air painting

Over the last couple of months I’ve taken to plein air painting, not exactly the easiest way to paint in Ireland as we tend to get more than our fair share of dull, wet, windy days, but wrapping up and choosing a spot that’s sheltered out of the wind has helped. The results have been mixed as it’s been a long time since I’ve worked outside the studio and even then I would draw and sketch rather than paint. I’ll post more as I go alone to see how the work progresses.
